I'm Jasmin Lafond, known to clients as Jae: a licensed natural hair stylist and loctician based in Stafford, TX, serving the greater Houston area. I specialize in locs, retwists, twists, silk presses, protective styles, and healthy hair maintenance, all built on one principle: your hair should still be there in five years.
Please Note: All deposits are non-refundable. All services include a shampoo, except braided styles.

Booking Guidance
The booking menu covers a lot. Here is how to think about which service to book if the list feels overwhelming, sorted by what you actually walked in wanting.
If you have locs already
- Need a retwist? Book Retwist Only ($120) or Partial Retwist ($80).
- Long overdue or matted? Book the In-Salon Consultation ($30) first.
- Have interlocking locs? Book Interlocking Maintenance ($315).
- Micro locs? Book Micro Loc Retie based on how many weeks it has been since your last visit.
If you want to start locs
- First-time loc client: Book the In-Salon Consultation ($30). Method, size, and pricing are confirmed before you commit.
- Ready to install today: Book Starter Locs (Small, Medium, Large, or Half Shaved) based on size preference.
- Want mature-looking locs same day: Book Instant Locs or Loc Extensions.
If you want a protective style
- Two-strand twists on your hair: Book Two-Strand Twist.
- Twists with hair added: Book Two-Strand Twist with Hair Added at your desired length.
- Goddess, butterfly, or faux locs: Book by style and length.
- Braids, feed-ins, or tribal: Book by braid style and length.
If you want a silk press
- Book Silk Press. Add Silk Press with Color if a permanent color service is included.
Deposit and Payment
- Non-refundable deposit due at booking.
- Deposit is applied to your service total.
- Remaining balance paid at the appointment. Cash, card, and Zelle accepted.
- Add-ons discussed and priced before the service starts.
Reschedule and Cancellation
- Reschedule requests require at least 48 hours notice.
- Deposits are transferable within a set window with advance notice.
- No-shows and same-day cancellations forfeit the deposit.
- Repeated no-shows may require full payment upfront on future bookings.
Every appointment requires a non-refundable deposit at booking. The deposit reserves your time and is applied to your service total when you arrive. This keeps the calendar honest for clients who show up.

What if I do not know which service to book?
Book the In-Salon Consultation ($30). Thirty minutes covers your hair, your goals, and a real service recommendation, so your next appointment is booked with confidence.
Do you take walk-ins?
No. All services are by appointment only. This keeps the calendar honest and makes sure your time and the next client's time are both respected.
How far in advance should I book?
Retwist and shorter services usually have openings within 1 to 2 weeks. Starter locs, goddess loc installs, and full braid services often book 2 to 4 weeks out. Saturday appointments book first.
Can I bring my child to my appointment?
For safety and time reasons, please plan childcare during your service. Kids under 12 in for their own appointment are welcome with a parent present.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, credit card, and Zelle. The deposit at booking is paid through the booking system.
Can I add on a service the day of?
Small add-ons are usually possible if time allows. Larger add-ons (retwist plus twists, silk press plus color) should be booked ahead so enough time is set aside.
What if I need to reschedule?
Reschedule requests need at least 48 hours notice. Your deposit transfers to the new appointment when notice is given in time.
Do you accept new clients?
Yes. New clients are welcome for every service. If you are unsure about your hair type, condition, or history, book the consultation first.
What if I am transferring from another stylist?
Book the consultation. That way we can look at what was done before and build a plan that fits going forward.
What if my locs are matted, thinning, or overdue?
Book the consultation, not the retwist. Overdue and thinning locs need a real assessment first so you are not paying for the wrong service.
